SELF CENTEREDNESS🙄😣

 

HEZEKIAH was able to change the mind of God. Can I just say that he was a able to convince God!.
     Prophet Isaiah came to deliver God's message to him,he was asked to prepare his house,set it in order because HE WILL DIE.
      He reminded God of his service to HIM. He reminded God of how he had walked before him in truth and with a perfect heart,and he went sore. He was able to change God's mind .Not only that,God added extra 15yrs to his lifespan.
    Unfortunately,when he was healed and recovered,HE MADE A TERRIBLE MISTAKE.
     King of  Babylon visited him and he showed him all his CLOSET.
         Again,God sent Isaiah to tell him that just as he has showed his closet to these visitors of his,so also will his upcoming generations be taken away to Babylon and nothing shall be left.
           GUESS WHAT HE SAID😔😔😔
 "This message you have given me from the Lord is good". For he was thinking,"At least there will peace and security during my lifetime".
       He wasn't ready to die but he was ready  to make the upcoming generations to pay for his deeds.
       Everything about him was ME,ME,ME...he wasn't concerned about lives that would come after HIS. He was too self centered.
     To cut the story short......

What decisions are you making as a youth,as an adult? Are you also thinking like Hezekiah,"At least there will be peace during my own lifetime",..like seriously 🤷🤷
        You don't care about lives that would come after yours.
      COME OFF IT, LET'S REPENT
Generations after yours don't have suffer for the consequence of your deeds,mistakes, decisions,paths you choose to tread!
    As youth,adults, we should know that generations are arising from US.
     We should be conscious of our choices, decisions.
      Even when our mistakes comes with punishment,scars,abeg let's deal with it and sort it out with God.
    REFUSE to be self centered
    RESOLVE it with God
  Generations' teeth shouldn't be set on edge because of the sour grape eaten by US the fathers.

MESS turned MESSAGE

I gorgeously carried my pitcher, Adored it with all that was within me. I never knew why other maidens felt angry;😕 They viewed me with envy in their eyes;😟 After a while, I noticed the reason why. My pitcher was the biggest, And had not a single crack.💃 As opposed to that of other maidens in the land. I got close to them,😣 Not wanting them to feel bad. But I regretted my decision;😢😞😧 I walked in the counsel of the ungodly, I stood in the way of sinners, I sat in the seat of the scornful, And drifted away just like chaff. My pitcher got broken.😥 I became a mess. The Savior came to my aid,😯 But though my sins were forgiven, consequences lingered. Wounds heal, But scars remain;😟 The Savior came and took away my MESS; He gave me a new name.🙌 I am no longer a MESS but a MESSAGE!
